A dedicated researcher studying the intricate dynamics of moisture fluxes within desert vadose zones. My scientific journey is driven by a pursuit of knowledge and a multidisciplinary approach, encompassing contamination transport, hydrogeological modeling, and vadose zone hydrology. My research is part of an NSF-funded Critical Zone Project, a pioneering initiative which assembles leading minds to advance our understanding of the geological, hydrological, and ecological processes in arid ecosystems. Beyond the lab, I am committed to translating our research into practical solutions for the unique challenges of arid regions, from contamination mitigation to sustainable water resource management.
